Description: One feature we wanted to spend a little more time discussing is the compact & go capability. How many times have you had to stop and empty the grass catcher only to see that it is no more than one third full. With the grass compression foot pedal, simply push the grass to the back of the bag and continue mowing your lawn. There is also a window to observe how full your grass catching bag is.
Another feature is the Edge Max which channels grass along a wall or tree for example into the housing and allowing the blade to cut right up to the edge of the wall or tree. this saves a great deal of time later by not having to trim the edge of your lawn with a trimmer.

Most customers found the Black & Decker 1400W Edge Max Lawn Mower 34cm Cut/ 40L Box easy to unpack and assemble, however a few did have problems taking longer than the expected 30 minutes.
Customers rate lawnmowers based on how well they work on their lawns and their own expectations, while some have had catastrophic failures. Most customers found that the lawnmower worked fine and cut the lawn properly. They had no trouble dealing with an average dry lawn. Trouble starts when the lawn is too long, wet or the cutting surface is rough.
Depending on the type of lawn you have, a stronger sturdier lawn mower might be better for those people with large lawns and longer grass between cuttings. Setting the height to allow longer grass and then gradually lowering the height on multiple passes also worked well for one customer. Mowing the grass often, perhaps twice a week also helped.
One customer had mechanical problems with the motor and had to return it to the supplier for warranty.
